made up adj 1 said of a person: wearing make-up. 2 said of a story, etc: not true; invented. 3 dressed for a part; disguised made up to look like a tramp. 4 colloq said of a person: extremely pleased; chuffed. 5 said of a road: same as made 3. 6 put together, completed or parcelled up two batches made up and ready to go.
