Cinna, Lucius Cornelius d.84BC
Roman politician
He supported Gaius Marius. Sulla, after driving Marius from Rome, and before setting out against Mithridates VI, allowed Cinna to be elected consul on his swearing not to disturb the existing constitution. No sooner, however, had he entered office (87BC) than he impeached Sulla, and agitated for Marius' recall. Cinna and Marius declared themselves consuls after a cruel massacre, but Marius died a few days later, and Cinna was killed by his own disaffected troops in 84. During his fourth consulate his daughter Cornelia had been married to Julius Caesar.

A wildcard is a special character you can use to replace one or more characters in a word. There are two types of wildcard. The first is a question mark ?, which matches a single character. The second is an asterisk *, which matches zero or more characters. The two kinds of wildcard can be mixed in a single search.
