English dramatist

He was born in Norfolk, and studied at Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge. He is mentioned in Philip Henslowe's Diary in 1598 as an active playwright, and collaborated freely with Henry Chettle, Thomas Dekker, and others. His works, privately printed by Arthur Henry Bullen in 1881, include a graceful comedy, Humour Out of Breath, and The Parliament of Bees, an allegorical masque.
