Henrietta Anne, Duchesse d'Orleans, known as Minette 1644-70
English princess
The youngest daughter of Charles I of Great Britain and Henrietta Maria, and sister of Charles II, she was born in Exeter during the English Civil Wars. Brought up as a Roman Catholic by her mother in France, she married Louis XIV's homosexual brother Philippe, Duc d'Orléans, but was also rumoured to have been the mistress of the French king himself. She played an important part in negotiating the Secret Treaty of Dover (1670) between Charles and Louis. There were rumours that her subsequent death was caused by poison, although it was more probably a case of a ruptured appendix.

A wildcard is a special character you can use to replace one or more characters in a word. There are two types of wildcard. The first is a question mark ?, which matches a single character. The second is an asterisk *, which matches zero or more characters. The two kinds of wildcard can be mixed in a single search.
