Herod Agrippa II AD27-c.100
Ruler of Palestine in Roman times
The son of Herod Agrippa I, he was in Rome when his father died (AD44). Claudius detained him, and changed the kingdom back into a Roman province. In 53 he received nearly all his paternal possessions, which were subsequently enlarged by Nero (54). Agrippa spent great sums in adorning Jerusalem, and did all in his power to dissuade the Jews from rebelling. When Jerusalem was taken by the Jews he went with his sister to Rome, where he became praetor. It was before him that St Paul made his defence.

A wildcard is a special character you can use to replace one or more characters in a word. There are two types of wildcard. The first is a question mark ?, which matches a single character. The second is an asterisk *, which matches zero or more characters. The two kinds of wildcard can be mixed in a single search.
