Caroline of Ansbach 1683-1737
Queen of Great Britain and Ireland
Born in Ansbach, the daughter of the Margrave of Brandenburg-Ansbach, she married George, Electoral Prince of Hanover (1705), later George II, and went to England with him when his father became King George I (1714). As Princess of Wales she established a court of writers and politicians at Leicester House. Sensible, and avoiding abuse of the power she loved, she was a strong supporter of Sir Robert Walpole, and acted as regent during her husband's absences abroad. They had five children, including Frederick Louis (1707-51), Prince of Wales and father of George III, and William Augustus, Duke of Cumberland.

A wildcard is a special character you can use to replace one or more characters in a word. There are two types of wildcard. The first is a question mark ?, which matches a single character. The second is an asterisk *, which matches zero or more characters. The two kinds of wildcard can be mixed in a single search.
