Cato, Marcus Porcius, the Younger, also called Uticensis 95-46BC
Roman politician
He served in the campaign against Spartacus (72BC). Military tribune in 67, he brought back with him from Greece the Stoic philosopher Athenodorus. As quaestor (65-64) he reformed the treasury offices. As tribune (63) he denounced Julius Caesar as an accomplice of Catilina, and his strenuous opposition to Marcus Licinius Crassus, Pompey, and Caesar, led to the formation of the first triumvirate. He later sided with Pompey, and after the Battle of Pharsalia (48) escaped into Africa, to defend Utica. When he heard of Caesar's decisive victory at Thapsus (46), he committed suicide rather than surrender. His great-grandfather was Cato, 'the Elder'.

A wildcard is a special character you can use to replace one or more characters in a word. There are two types of wildcard. The first is a question mark ?, which matches a single character. The second is an asterisk *, which matches zero or more characters. The two kinds of wildcard can be mixed in a single search.
