Eucleides of Megara fl.c.390BC
Greek philosopher

A disciple of Socrates, mentioned by Plato as one of those present during Socrates' last hours, he founded a school of Megarians, who were evidently influenced by Parmenides as well as by Socrates and are associated with various developments in logic like the 'liar paradox' (attributed to one of their number, Eubulides). Nothing of their writings survives.
