Flaminius, Gaius d.217BC
Roman general
Consul in 223BC, he distributed the Ager Gallicus tribal lands left uninhabited since 283. He was the first Roman commander to cross the Po when he defeated the Insubres at the Addua (223). He extended his road, the Via Flamina, from Rome to Ariminum (Rimini) in 220, and built the Circus Flaminius (the biggest arena for chariot-racing in Republican times). Consul again in 217, he tried to stem Hannibal's invasion of Etruria but was defeated and killed at Lake Trasimene.

A wildcard is a special character you can use to replace one or more characters in a word. There are two types of wildcard. The first is a question mark ?, which matches a single character. The second is an asterisk *, which matches zero or more characters. The two kinds of wildcard can be mixed in a single search.
