Russian composer

He was born in St Petersburg, and trained under Rimsky-Korsakov. His works include music for the piano and the vivid nationalist symphonic poems Baba-Yaga, Kikimora and The Enchanted Lake. He also made collections of Russian folk-songs, conducted, and was a professor at St Petersburg.
