Percy, Sir Henry, also known as Hotspur 1364-1403
English nobleman

He was the eldest son of Henry Percy, the earl of Northumberland, and was called 'Hotspur' because of his fiery temper. His father had helped Henry of Lancaster (Henry IV) to the English throne but was dissatisfied with the king's lack of gratitude. Both father and son joined Owen Glendower's rebellion against Henry IV, and Hotspur was killed in the defeat at Shrewsbury.
